Written by Stephen Chbosky, this epistolary novel tells us about Charlie who writes letters to an unknowned friend.

      In the beginning, I really didn’t like the story. I thought it was boring like a basic story about american teenagers, but I was suprised ! 

      The book is about Charlie’s highschool life, his new friends, his family. Charlie has an unconventional style which attaches you to him ; he has his own character. He is quite shy and reserved, but he has got 2 older friends : Sam and Patrick. His english teacher Bill is important to him ; he helps him a lot at school and also in his personal life : Charlie has to face several problems such as drugs, alcohol and sexual life …

      In 2012, a movie adapted from this book came out. (Main actors : Logan Lerman, Emma Watson and Ezra Miller)
